Energy-efficient renovation of the Roman Catholic Church in Ebmatingen. By using photovoltaic-thermal Modules (PVT) and the solar-powered geothermal heat pump, the total energy requirement could be reduced by 35%. The old oil heating system was dismantled and disposed of, saving 21 tonnes of CO2 per year. The entire construction project was awarded the Swiss Solar Prize in 2019.
